The Schedule of Service

We will arrange an appointment at your convenience to discuss with you your planned move. We will explian the services we provide and agree with you exactly what's to be included in the quotation, together with a detailed Service Specification of what will and won't be included in the final move.

What To Take

Decide what you want to take early on and make sure you let P & J Removals know this before the quotation is provided. Do not put everything together in one room or area: this makes it very difficult for the P & J Removal Staff to work and it will slow us down.

If you can, try to remove anything that is not going to your new home before the moving day. If you can't then just identify the items clearly, usually by using labels provided by your mover.

Special Items

If you have something unusual and a treasured item. Please let us know! We will make special arrangements for palnts, fine art, antiques, wine collections, IT equipment or anything else about which you are particularly concerned about.

The Date

P & J Removals ask you to arrange a date as far ahead as possible. Please don't guess the date and this does not help us to help you. Please keep us informed if you think we may need to react at short notice.

Main Services

We are not allowed to tamper with the Mains Services to your dwelling. Please make arrangements with your gas / electricity provider well in advance. Also, you make want to inform your telephone company and internet service provider that you are moving so you keep your exsisting telephone numbers and internet service.
