The Schedule of Service

Moving a business to another premises requires timing, organization and co-ordination if you are to avoid losing money or upsetting your customers. We will arrange an appointment at your convenience to discuss with you your planned business move and work with to organize a detailed Schedule of Service to avoid any delays. We will explian the services they provide and agree with you exactly what's to be included in the quotation, together with a detailed Service Specification of what will and won't be included in the final move.

The Order Of Moving and What To Take

Depending upon the size of your business you might want to consider of moving your buisness over several days. This will enable to continuity of your business and ensure it remains operating at all times. It is important that you decide what part of your business moves first and that you discuss this with us so a detailed quotation can be provided. Do not put everything together in one room or area: this makes it very difficult for the P & J Removal Staff to work and it will slow us down.

If you can, try to remove anything that is not going to your new business address before the moving day. It is important that you identify and label all items and where they go in your new premisses to ensure continuity of your business.

Computers and IT Equipment

Most business now rely computers and other IT Equipement. It is important that you as the customer are responsible for the packing of all computer related equipment and that proper 'protective' packing has been used. The customer is also responsible for the backing up of any data should any accidental damage occur to Computer and IT Equipment during the move. P and J Removals will not be resonsible for any lost of data.

The Date

We ask you to arrange a date as far ahead as possible. Please don't guess the date and this does not help us to help you. Please keep us informed if you think we may need to react at short notice.

Main Services

P & J Removals are not allowed to tamper with the Mains Services to your new business address. Please make arrangements with your gas / electricity provider well in advance. Also, you make want to inform your telephone company and internet service provider that you are moving so you keep your exsisting telephone numbers and internet service.
